Glenn Underwater Services, Inc. has begun the process of updating its' umbilicals to the new spiral technology. The traditional umbilical has remained unchanged for over 50 years, and it works, but things can be done better. Advancements in materials have led to new engineered products that perform much better and are designed specifically for diving uses.

This "rope-like" design provides better protection and safety for the diver as no single element sees excessive compression or tension and therefore is much less likely to be damaged. As diver safety is a priority for Glenn Underwater Services, Inc., these new equipment aquisitions shall enhance diver safety, equipment longevity and replacement value.

Glenn Underwater Services, Inc. is able to design, fabricate and install this safety measure efficiently.
